Snail eggs?

Hi all,

I bought a cleanup crew from reefcleaners to help combat my green hair algae problem (yes I know some is in my picture and yes I am working hard to correct it).

I noticed today after work that there seems to be some what looks like mini eggs w/ yolk on my glass. I think the snail in the picture is laying them.

Can anyone confirm?

Nerite snail eggs. They're pretty cool - you can watch them develop in the eggs pretty easily with a good magnifying lens. I never saw any babies in the tank though - I have a feeling most tanks don't have the proper food to feed the larvae after they hatch.

I'm not sure but I assume the larval stage must be pelagic. Lots of eggs but never any babies
