Shrimp

Hey guys quick question, i recently added a fire shrimp to my tank.
to put it short im obsessed he is beautiful.
I have a 24 gallon tank, but what is the rule on shrimp, is more than one ok, would they hurt each other if their paths crossed? Would it be better to put a different type of shrimp? Also how much do they count towards your biological load?
Thanks guys!
i love reef sanctuary!

Well, the shrimp don't add much to the bioload. You can put in 3 more if you wanted, for awhile I had 3 cleaner shrimp and 2 bloods and 6 peppermints...

I have 4 peppermints and 1 fire shrimp in a ninety gallon with no problems. I'm considering adding a red/white striped cleaner shrimp.

I have in my 10g

3 peppermint
1 purple lobster
1 fire shrimp (which also acts like a cleaner skunk shrimp preening my fish(1x) )

So you're probably good to go for another one or two as long as your tank parameters are all in the GOOD!!

I have always had two and they stay together. I would think it woud be fine to have 2 in your tank. They don't count much in the bio-load since they are basically scavengers and more of a cleanup crew than a load.
