Yes, when I saw them I did not really care how much they were.... : )

One day when I have time and room for my tank... I will take some nice pics of Ricordeas...

Here's one I shot at Extreme Corals on Sunday... unfortunately it was already spoken for. Doing work for a primo coral vendor can be a painful experience. Tough to walk out the door. :)

Craig, the ric won't look THAT purple to the naked eye from a distance. But when you get up close (in my case with a macro lens), ricordea often show you a side you never even noticed. Take a look between the "bubbles" of some of your rics up really close. To me, that's the only way to truly appreciate these corals.

Good point Travis, I am always taken back by the color morphs you see in Ricordeas during the day, same phenomenon with ornamental clams.

these arent ricordias but they are 1 of 4 rocks of solomon bullseyes like these to come into the country last week so i kinda feel they are worthy of being posted here. :turntable
