ScoubaSteve's RSM250

My first thread...Here goes.
I started my RSM 250 in 2011 and had to shut it down in 2014 for military reasons. Finally, two years later, I am starting it back up again. Currently, I am running 40lbs of aragalive sand, 55lbs dry reef saver rock, two Chemi-Pure Elite bags and a Tunze Osmolator Nano ATO. I have have been cycling the tank for about 2 weeks now using Dr. Tims Live Nitrifying Bacteria. The only issue that I am running into right now is my skimmer pump is on the fritz. It runs normal as long as there is no air passing through. If I run air through it, the water/air output drops tremendously and begins to vibrate really bad. I am thinking about replacing the skimmer with the Tunze 9004 since parts for the RSM 250 are becoming scarce. Anyway, I just wanted to share my tank with the rest of the community. I plan on raising LPS and various fish. I will attach pictures as soon as I figure out how and will continue to update for everyone as the tank progresses.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions about optional equipment, mods or anything else...I am very open to input.

Thanks Nanoreefing. Been looking into LEDs for my tank for several years now to keep from the continued investment of T5 lights but I enjoy my marriage too...hahaha. (My wife hates this hobby unless I have a yellow tang). I dont want to mod my tank too much, it just wouldn't be a RSM in the end. As far as the skimmer, I really like the surface skimming ability of the Tunze 9004.
