I was thinking about adding reefbrite strips to the t5s but I wasn’t sure if they would be too close to the water in the stock hood. Or I could remove the hood and go led. Any advice would be great and if you did remove the hood what lights did you go with and do you like them?
The stock lighting on a RSM 250 isn't too bad. What do you hope to gain by adding the reefbrite strips?
If you really want to upgrade the lighting, I'd suggest going with a Steve's LEDS upgrade, which replaces the existing T5 lighting.
