I need your advice for choosing a return pump for my chiller. My first choice is EHEIM compact 1000, but I'm concerned about the space. The pump is 54*94*78 mm (whd) and with 17 mm hose diameter (the same as Red Sea Max Chiller Accessory Kit). I'm also planning to upgrade to Bubble Magus NAC QQ (already got it) and the media basket is on it's way. Anybody tried that pump in this tank? Or can you recommend a smaller pump ~ 1000 l/h?
I'm also thinking of putting an external pump with 17 mm (2/3" I think) in and out connectors but I can't find some I can trust. Actually I'm trying to avoid this setup if possible for security reasons.
