Reefer 250 & Refugium

Im contemplating going down the reefer 250 route but I've always wanted to run a refugium mainly to support copepod production enabling the possibility of a mandarin.

The ONLY thing that's putting me off the 250 is the sump not having a refugium partition.

I've seen you can get baffles which divide the largest section of the sump into a split for the skimmer and small refugium but I'm questioning how much of an impact that much cheato would have in such a small sump?

Really wish they'd made it just that little bit bigger!

If you have a reefer 250, you have about 50 gal of water in the display tank. This is enough to support pod production for a mandarin, provided you have enough live rock, and no other fish that will compete directly for pods with the mandarin. For example, you don't want to add any wrasses if you want a mandarin.
