Red turf algae

How are the turbos doing on the algae Melvis?

Turbo....lol...one doesn't appear to have made it! Drip acclimated for 1.5 hours, left the lights off and placed them right on it but low down at the back. The one that's alive appears to have eaten some, but as there's so much of it, it's a bit difficult to really tell. I have seen him munching on it though, so hopefully he develops a taste for it.

With more than one eating it, I reckon I'd see more of a difference.

I did leave the other one in there in the hope he was sulking etc, but seeing as it's been 3-4 days, I think it might be safe to say he's a goner! I'll dig him out when I get home.

Just see this as mentioned in another thread if you are not ontop of it have you looked at algae X ?

Two out of my three supposed Mexican Turbo's lasted a week and snuffed it and the other seems to prefer the algae that grows on the back wall ffs. I'll get there.....eventually! I'll check that out, cheers mate.
