Red Sea 130D AIO

I have a long thread on my local club site (njreefers.org) so here is the short version with pix

a local reefer gave me this tank. before i cleaned it



after




the light fixture was toast. none of the internal fans worked and the light wasn't turning on






so i gutted it including the timer

I then decided to add a kessil a360we to the hood. so i 1st taped off and marked the center.


and with a step bit, poked a hole in the center


then tracea circle around the light with chalk and with my jig saw, began to cut out a hole.

i also installed the skimmer and attached it to the in tank media basket

at this point, the tank was relocated to the other side of the room. once that was done, sand, live rocks and water went in




and clipped on the gourmet grazer for cycling

next is the Ato and the Apex under the stand

2gal cereal container for top off water

smart ato (which is now in the rear of the tank

then mounted the apex jr



the tank then cycled for about 2months and here is the 1st FTS


this is about 1month after

about 2 mths after

i moved some pieces around, and also gave some stuff away to fellow reefers at this point


around month 3 i started having some gha issues which you can see on the back glass

so i upped my water changes and reduced my feeding
and around month 4-5 give or take it cleared up

purigen (but soon will stop using)
pond matrix

1x mine urchin
snails/hermits

(had a lubbock wrasse but didn't make...just suddenly died about a month ago)....at some point i would like to get another wrasse, and maybe a 5th fish (maybe a cardinal or something) but i haven't had the time
