rare sps corals attractive for the beginner?

Are there any rare sps corals that are also friendly for the beginner and with a speedy growth rate? Just for fun that is

You must like to spend money and have something die, i've been in salt for 3 years and still shy away from sps.

Tough to find the two together. Try a green slimmer, not rare but pretty and a fast grower under the right conditions.

You might try a Montipora Capricornis pretty easy and fast growth

As already stated usually "rare" and easy to grow and fast growing don't go in the same sentence. It's worth a shot at asking but honestly you won't find all those in a single coral.

I've found Green Slimer, Montipora Capricornis, and some Green Birds Nest to be slightly more hardy than most of the other SPS and all of those CAN have good growth. Just remember coral growth and color go hand in hand with water chemistry just as much as lighting (if not more so than lighting).
