Problems with rear fans on RSM250

Hi all

The fans on the back on my RSM250 aren't working. I've taken them out and noticed it looks as if water has gotten to them. One of the cables to the back of the fans was out, so no surprise on that one, but is there anyway to tell if I will need to replace the whole fan unit, or will I also need to replace the cable that plugs in to the fan unit?

I am going to replace all the fans in the hood as well whilst I'm at it, any recommendations as to what fans to use? Some silent ones would be ideal. UK based if this helps!

The simple answer is to buy new ones, but I highly upgrading to 2x80mm noctura fans :) you need to cut out the vertical plastic bar and then cobble together a way to power them but they kick out a lot more air than the standard ones :)

Thanks for the link and advice. Spoken to Glenn via another thread and just going order a new unit instead. Hopefully it will help reduce some of the heat. Tempted to buy a separate power supply for it as well.
