Pom Pom Xenia Stem Damage

I just bought a new frag rock with a Pom Pom Xenia on it and my clumsy Lawnmower Blenny knocked it over. The stem tore on one side. Will it heal? I didn't take a pic cause I put it in an area of the tank that gets very little water flow and it's barely visible from the outside of the tank. Is ther anything I can do to help it? Thanks for any advice!

Cat - in my 1st tank I had Pom Pom Xenia and once it takes hold, you can't kill it even if you try... it should heal & recover

+1^, I'm guessing you'll have new growth out of both sides of the tear, "unplanned fragging". Have fun!

i would try and cut them back off of rocks i did not want them on with a razo blade and the little chunk left over grew a new head in 2 weeks. like they said... you cant kill this thing, not even when you really want to lol
