so as of this morning the derasa and gigas have better mantle extension then yesterday. The gigas' mantle looks like the edge of wet paper and the derasa has bleached patches in a few spots. Hoping they will recover. Is there anything that I should do to help theses guys survive? or is it just a waiting game?

How is the lighting in your system? In that picture the clam looks to be in shade. It is also very pale. The pigment should be darker then that.

Well that's some good lighting. What bulbs are you using? Maybe the lighting is too strong? Doubtful. Is it in the shade liike it looks or is that just the picture. Sorry to be hammering you with questions. As a fellow T.Gigas owner I feel your worry and want you to get through this. I am just trying to help you figure this issue out. Did you or are you going to pull the shrimp?
