Diana,you have been running carbon and a form of po4 adsorbent with the Chemipure Elite,its carbon and gfo mixed together.
if you step into raising acropora,then you will need to concern yourself with po4 readings.Pauls tank is a very different animal that is in no way typical in our hobby.what works for him[and works wonderfully btw] will almost certainly not work for the rest of us as far as growing thriving acropora.Pauls tank is about as natural as one could strive for,again,very atypical in our hobby.

I'm thinking that I might just stay away from acropora higher level of care corals.
When my starting water (replacement WC water) Hanna test for phosphate reads 0.10 and 0.09 (ran the test 2 times)...I think my tank is doing as good as it can. Good enough for LPS as they all look happy & very healthy.
