Peppermint shrimp babies

Hi all,
My peppermint shrimp just had babies. I now have about 1000 little white shrimps floating around in my tank. My 2 fish are having a field day. Just wondering what kind of problems this might cause. Will I get a mini cycle from this? Its like I WAY over fed my tank right now.

shouldn't be an issue. It's probably the same as if you put 1000 pods in there unless it's a really small tank

You won't get any cycle from the kids

My two cleaner shrimp release fry every two weeks or so, one just released last night. Not a problem, fish will eat what they can catch and your pumps will do away with the rest of them. You won't see a mini cycle.

I've had it happen a couple of different times and no issues what so ever. In reality many will get stuck in filters and such but because of their small size they don't really contribute to the tank much at all. Your fish may "poop" a little more for a couple of days but that's about it.
