NightSea Photos

These were taken with NightSea gear (UV light, and lens filter). They excite the fluorescent proteins in the corals and show a whole new world that usually goes unseen.

This is what i would consider my specialty.

You can see a ton more of these on my website in the gallery. Its been taking a while to load, so be patient, and all the galleries should show up.

I am actually writing an article for Reef Keeping magazine on it. Its going to be an in depth how-to. Should be in the October issue. So it will include all the details on how to do it.

Its actually very easy once you get the hang of it. Its got a bunch of post processing to get it right. As you can imagine is all but gives the photo sensor in my camera an aneurysm.

 I'm sure!!

There was a huge article about it in the last issue of "Coral" magazine! That's what inspired me to start checking into it more.

Thanks for sharing buddy!! Looking forward to seeing more.
