Hello all, Glad to be here. Started my saltwater aquarium about 3 months ago. I have got a BTA about 2 weeks and now it has moved up under a ledge of a rock. I also got a pink tip anemone and it is wedging itself between 2 rocks. Is this normal? I really want them to survive. Any suggestions/tips?

Welcome to RS.

As for your anemones, you tank is far too new for them. They require well established tanks, excellent water quality, and lighting. It usually takes about a year to get a tank to the point where it's going to be able to support these large anemones.

The best thing to do is to return them to your LFS, sell them or give them away. I know this is not what you want to hear, and maybe even sounds like I'm tearing into someone because they are new. This isn't the case. I just want you to have a successful reef system.

Once your tank is well established, we'll talk about the water quality and lighting, and anemones.
