Thank you he told me it was a slow grower but in the week I've had it, it's grown 5 new leaves I'm pretty stoked

That's a great one to have. Some tanks it will grow a little slower but in some tanks WOW!!!

It is considered a good macro algae in a reef system.

If it does really grow for you it may need to be trimmed back. Also keep an eye on your calcium levels. Large amounts of Halimeda can remove a lot oc calcium from the water. The size you have will not be an issue, but just watch how it can grow over time.

Thank for the info I've already trimmed it a bit it's growing so fast but I love the look of it
