This is a really nice setup, I love the idea of having separate tanks plumbed to the same sump and would definitely go this route if I ever had the opportunity to do something like this.

the only difference is, im not replacing anything. i'm ADDING. I cant see taking out my skimmer and my fuge. but if i can get added benefits by simply adding $10 worth of PVC, a $5 screen, a old maxi jet, and some light... then I dont see any reason NOT to build this thing. lol

Coudn't have said it better myself. As soon as my lights arrive the buid begins. I just ordered them today.

im about 1/2 way done building the scrubber. have to go pick up some screen.


and the duncan is different from any others ive seen locally, but my lighting is different too. the blue LEDs really make things pop.
