Work has been keeping me very busy (shipping to customers for xmas), but I have got my tank up and running and cycled as of yesterday. Doing a 40%-50% water change tomorrow.
I started with 30lbs reef cleaners rock and 20-25lbs caribsea special grade sand (dry / rinsed). Dosed with ammonia and then added some live sand from my LFS and some API live bacteria. This took 2 1/2 weeks from dosing till yesterday.
current parameters are:
Salinity - 1.025
Temp - 78
ammonia / nitrite - back down to 0
Nitrates down to 10 and will perform water change tomorrow.
pH - 8
