MRC-2 vs Octo200NW

Ok so I found a My Reef Creation MRC-2 with dual beckett injection and fully loaded option wise. It is mated to a Sequence Wahoo 1800gph pump. I can get it for 450. I can buy an Octopus 200 NW Reciculating for less Im sure but which will be a better skimmer? Which will be more maintenance free skimmer. I spend a lot of time out of town and my girlfriend wont be able to constantly mess with something. I am going to have a SPS dominant tank with a few large fish so water quality is a premium. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have to say I have never seen an mrc-2 but the lfs near here uses about 30 octopus skimmers of different size's with great success.

MRC-2 is a nice skimmer. I am a big fan of Beckett skimmers. Check out this one. Austin Oceans - Protein Skimmers

It has nothing to do with a clique. I just know nothing about either skimmer. I have 2 ASM skimmers and an Aqua C Remora. They all work great for me so I have never tried others.
