marineland led double bright light questions

Hello everybody my lfs just got a new shipment of goods within the last week and they got some marineland led double bright lighting systems. They have 1200 lumens (not really sure what that means). The box said it is powered by 16 one watt led lights which doesnt sound like very much considering some people are useing more bulbs that are 2-3 watt leds on their tanks. So im just wondering if anybody has any experiance with these fixtures and how they are. I havent read too many good things about them but I just thought I would ask around. My current set up is a 300 watt compact flourescent fixture for my 55 gallon reef aquarium.

That's NOT a Reef Light and not intended (or advertised) for Photosynthetic Coral use. The 48" uses 16x1w LEDs. That's 1/3 of the light I'm using over my 12g NanoCube.

IMHO that would make a nice fixture over a Fresh Water tank (non-planted) or a FO/FOWLR tank containing no coral.
