Me too! And he was really detailed in what he did that seemed to work and what didn't work. Interesting that he saw failure when the nitrates were low. I guess they'd breed just fine in my reef then. :lol:

Thats very cool, if they keep up with that research in a few years most everything should be available as Tank Raised specimens.

There is a guy at the NJ shore that has had success breeding them as well. They are a few weeks old and I emailed him and asked if i would be able to get one when they get large enough and sure enough I will be getting a tank bred mandarin in a few months!!! He is even teaching them to eat flakes and pellets and whatnot, though my pod population is anything but scarce.
