Kalk topoff clogging aqualifter

I recently started using Kalkwasser mixed in a 5-gallon bucket with a Tom aquatics aqualifter for my top off. Last week I got a little behind on my maintenance and the top off was depleted before I could refill. When I refilled it and turned it back on it seems the residual left behind in the Kalk bucket had clogged up the airline and the aqualifter. Anyone else have this problem?? Anything I can do to unclogged the aqualifter??

I haven't used Kalk but I know many people mention this same problem. Some compensate by not allowing the "Bottom of the bucket" to be used others compensate with a constant "Kalk Stirrer".
