turbiville - nice pictures. That appears to be a colony of some type of tubeworm (like featherdusters), in that last picture, based on what appear to be hard tubes. If so - harmless filter feeders. You might want to post that picture in the hitchhiker forum for more opinions. I almost thought hydroids when I first saw the pic, but I don't know if they live in tubes?

Hmmmm, maybe my first thought of hydroids was correct, based on the response you got in the hitchhiker forum. Your newer pictures in there almost look like maybe they died off, as a lot of hitchhikers do in a new tank. I'd keep an eye on them and if they reappear maybe something like the Aiptasia-X would eradicate them if you could drip in in the tubes. But, some say they just leave them alone. All kinds of opinions eh? :)
