It almost looks like its digestive system - mensurel filaments (or whatever). I don't know if elegance corals have them but that's what it looks like to me

Thanks, it hasn't moved over the last 24 hours so I think I can rule out a Nudibranch

Have you tried removing it to see if its a part of the coral or something sitting on it?
