Is Gorilla Glue Aquarium Safe?

I just made a small stand out of egg-crate to put frags on in the lower portion of my tank. I used Gorilla Glue, so is it aquarium safe?

If not what's the best glue/super glue to use for these type of builds.

i wouldnt trust the gorilla glue in the tank. regular brand super glue gel is a fav with the reefers. Its what i use for everything. That and duct tape haha

No it definitely is not safe, it breaks down over time in water.

Gorilla sells super glue gel which is fine, but I wouldn't trust the regular stuff. I had a friend use it on her FW tank filter and it worked fine, but she didn't have all the expensive and sensitive inverts, corals, and fish, not to mention all of the rock and animals that live on it! No, wouldn't do it!

ive been using gorilla glue super glue for about 2 years, with no issues what-so-ever.

Oh, I have been using Gorilla super glue on my frags no problem, the regular Gorilla glue is no good!!

Here's how I see it

gorilla glue = NO!
Gorilla Wood Glue = NO!
Gorilla Epoxy = NO!
Gorilla Glue Super Glue = Yep!!

Gorilla glues isn't safe for aquarium systems,use Dr.G's Coral Dip glues.
