Is frogspawn mean?

Not really a problem for fish but it grows rather large and wavy, it also has a potent sting so it's another coral that needs room to spread out.

Thanks Eric... with this 110gl arriving on Sunday, I think I'm going to have some room to fill. =) If I were to put it on it's own rock away from the rest of the rockwork - like I did with my GSP, would it be easy to frag when it grows?

As long as you get a branching froggy they are really easy to frag, you simply break the stems off that you want to remove.

FrogSpawn is VERY easy to frag if it's the BRANCHING kind. Once it's big enough you use "Sheers" and cut down between the branches.

the WALL variety is MUCH harder and messier to frag.

Oh Lord! Taking shears to anything alive (other than hair) sounds so awful!! lol I will make sure I ask what kind it is.

The Branching variety has a skeleton that literally branches like a tree. Just cut in the "V" and you're good to go. No living tissue there at all.
