At the weekend I added the Flasher Wrasse to the DT and also picked up a Yellow Tang who is now in the QT. Also picked up a couple of Acro frags and another piccie of the Bubble tip, I just couldn't resist it, such a weird and wonderful animal!

Meet the originally named 'Flash'

I find the coral growth in my tank fascinating, I know I've lost a few along the way, but to see how they grow I think is amazing! I just wish I knew why some die and some go bananas!!

This is a frag I got from Kay (RSM250PEARL) in May 2011, when the left hand photo was taken and the right hand side was was taken today

This was the Millipora just over a year ago (Sept 2010) and now

And this little Montipora frag looked like this a year ago (Dec 2010)

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, but these button polyp hitchhikers started coming through about a year ago (Dec 2010 on the left) and now they are covering the whole rock

Thanks guys

Looks like I've lost the Flasher Wrasse I added a few weeks ago, not seen it all day and spotted what looks like the remains of it at the back of the tank with the CUC doing their job, no idea why, seemed perfectly happy yesterday :ponder2:

When the lights go out the Wrasse disappears into the LR, not sure if it goes to ground or into a crevice. I wouldnt normally be worried about not seeing a fish for a day or so, but seeing the CUC all over something at the back of the tank is the deal breaker I'm afraid. If it's not the Wrasse I'm not sure what else they could be tucking into as nothing else is missing.
