what is thet snail ?

he reef safe?

I'm no expert but that's a cone snail. I don't know if it's deadly or not. There are over 600 species of cone snails but only a handful (ha ha!) are deadly. Is it eating your fish? If so then it's deadly. If not then it's just a worm eater and not dangerous to humans. Don't pick it up with your hands. If you want to remove it use tongs or something similar.

I have similar snails all over in my DT. climb the glass, rock, sand...never hurt any of my corals. I'd recommend keeping an eye on it, and dump it in the fuge if it starts nibbling on your corals. The ones i have never get bigger than 1/4 of an inch
