got some live rock while back and this is on it not sure what it is asked a few buddies that know alot about reefs and they drew a blank
but i think it might be a hidden cup coral aslong with the ones to the left of them

Maybe a Balanophyllia or just a really big hidden cup coral. Do you know where the liverock came from?

Doe's that happen to be Florida aqua cultured rock? If so I believe that animal is the hidden cup coral, "Phyllangia americana" here is a fair picutre of what I believe it is, http://www.sms.si.edu/IRLFieldGuide/Phylla_americ.htm If you search I'm sure there is better. If it's Pacific rock than it's not

Does it have a skeleton? Phyllangia americana have a pretty distinct skeleton.

im going with it being a rose coral if the live rock is from Florida like this one AquaTouch Live Stock

Terry? have another look at the first pic, that really looks like a motile foot to me not an encrusting or hard rock attachment, still need a mouth pic heh?

Good point on the foot - it does look motile. A mouth pic would still be nice to see though.

If the person who started the thread would say the source of the rock, and it is Florida or gulf I stand by cup coral.

i still think its a ball tip anemone
