How to catch an engineer?

My engineer goby is driving me nuts and I think I just want to get him out. I regret putting it in my tank. Is there a way I can catch/trap it without tearing apart my tank? Please don't tell me I have to leave it.

Use the plastic bottle trick. Cut off the top n reverse it. Put food in the center n wait.

The bottle trap works. I caught my "Demon Spawn" domino damsel along with my unwanted crabs this way. Patience is key. Put some food you know he loves in the bottle.

Nah! Jawfish are safe. Have an occasional tendency to jump when scared, but otherwise no problem.
