my name is Andy, currently a beginner in the reef game. i currently have a tank cycling. its my first saltwater tank. ive had fresh water before this so i do understand some basic fish keeping. joined this forum to learn more about the hobbie and to possible ask question, pick your brains. this is my tank and equipment so far.

TANK:

72" x24" x30"tall 220g glass tank.
running a bean animal with a ghost overflow.
Eshoppes 36"x18"x16t acrylic 3 chamber sump
40g breeder external refuge
20g (split in half) for ATO and empty chamber incase sump floods.

LIGHTS:

4x 80w T5's 2xAti blue plus 1x ati purple plus 1x ati coral plus
3x Kessil AW360 (i like shimmer!)

EQUIPMENT:

main return: Vortech L1
sub pump: Sicce 3 (supplies water to the media reactor and external refuge)
sea side aquatics large media reactor
Aquamaxx Q3 skimmer
2x 300w titanium heaters
4x neptune wav (with 2x 1-link)
Apex classic
Tunze Osmolator 3155

at the moment, its on day4 of the cycle, i used brightwell microbactor7 and Dr Tims ammonia.
