Hi all, I had a nice GSP but now is all covered with hair algae and just few polyps are open.
So, what would be best way to "clean it"? Brush it? Deep it? cnfzd:

I've had pretty decent luck using a "tooth-brush" and capturing the HA in the bristles as I twist it around. A smaller brush would be better but a tooth-brush works good if the HA is long enough (sshhh don't tell Julie about her tooth-brush) :)

Yesterday I cleaned my GSP. Place it in a bucket and brushed it all. I even performed my very first official frag!!!! I didnt had any frag plug or LR rubble on hand so took an empty clam shell instead.

I hope than in two days mother colony and frag will open.

Arturo I used MANY a shell for frag bases when my mother lived near the beach. She collected shells every couple of days and once a month or so I'd get a box in the mail packed up. I probably still have 1,234,567,876 shell saved for future supplies LOL!

Congrats on the new FRAG endeavor. Just realize it's addictive! Once you go FRAG you never go back LOL!
