Green Hair Algae

Good evening all...

This might be a stupid question but here goes.. Is all green hair algae Green? I have some hair algae that's red-ish in color. Is this considered GHA? (I'll work on getting some pics)

I am new to marines but I believe all green hair algae is green. I do have a few bits of something on some of the established rock that is moving in the current that is red brown. I will follow any replies you get with interest.

Algae as being a problem is fixed pretty much the same way. Does not seem to matter to much what kind. manual removal and water changes are the best way to start. If you have an Algae that is different then your normal GHA, post a pic. Maybe its a macro algae which is a good algae instead of a bad one. But as always post a pic so it can be identified.
