Green banded gobie has red bubble sticking out

Hello all! My green banded gobie has what looks like a solid red growth protruding from his right eye.. It doesn't look like a popped eye; it is solid red. The fish is about 1.5" and the growth is the size if a small pea.

What do you feed? Are you sure it is getting good nutrition? I ask because they can go a long way. Does anyone else in the tank look odd?
