Goby suggestions??

My Yasha goby has gone MIA and I still hear the snapping of his shrimp buddy. I would like to order another goby but want to make sure I get one that will pair with a snapping shrimp. BTW the snapping shrimp is a smaller (1"or less). I would kind of like to get a sand sifter if possible as well as one that gets bigger than a yasha. Dont want to make an extra meal for my flame hawkfish!

What type of pistol shrimp is it? Is it one of the red & white shrimp? I know a Yellow Watchman will easily pair up with a Tiger Pistol.

I believe it is the same kind that you got once upon a time. Here it is:
Candy Stripe Pistol Shrimp, Red Banded Pistol Shrimp - Alpheus spp.

OK - I was thinking it was probably the Candy Stripe. It seems like most shrimp gobies pair up with most shrimp, but never any guarantees. My Candy Stripe was so tiny I think it was eaten.

For what it's worth, I checked around a lot before I got my tiger shrimp and I think all the info I saw said the different "watchman gobies" and pistols pair pretty quickly. Like Terry says no guarantees, but it seems they pair pretty easily and quickly.
