two DE 20k metal halide shipped to my door for $16. awesome color and ive gotten good growth. might now have the higest par rating but what the hell ... 16 bucks...

i bought a PC light a while back for $17.99 with free shipping and it worked great corals opend up much better than with a coralife bulb

BUYER BEWARE.

If you buy from ebay, make sure it comes from a reputable source and that you don't get a trashy chinese knock-off.

Also keep in mind with bulbs that the age of the bulb matters. Don't buy used ones.

Update I bought the $9.99 each bulbs, and had them in a little over a week. I have come down with a very mild case of cynobacteria. I also added a new fish, and have been feeding a little more. I am pretty sure it was the bulbs. I took them out, and replaced them with 5 month old bulbs. i will update in a week to see if the Cyno is gone. thx
