DIY Sump Build

well i'm not sure how much extra this could handle, i haven't run any tests yet. but i doubt i have 5 gallons, so i will be cutting the baffles down. i have a router so i shouldn't be to hard. i'm putting this on a 54 corner, does anyone think i should be going bigger with this sump? i don't mind scrapping this as a test run. i was trying to make the biggest fuge area i could!

Go as big as you possibly can, the bigger the sump the more stable the tank, the more room for equipment, and the bigger the fuge for nutrient export and natural filtration, its almost impossible to go too large for a sump/fuge.

I did a test and there seems to be no leaks! I added water until the water line was about 1" about the last baffle after the bubble trap. Then I filled a 5 Gallon bucket at started to dump the water in, it held all 5 gallons with a small about over. I haven't lowered any of the baffles, do you think I still need to? Thanks for any input!
