Cotton-like Cylinders

I have noticed several white cotton like cylinders growing on my LR. Can anyone tell me what they might be? I have had this LR for about 2 months. Sorry that the picture quality is not good but these things are very small.

Thanks for the help.

They might be egg clusters as well. I had quite a bit on my macroalgae in the sump. and a few days later pods everywhere.

look like sponges to me...
Are you turning your rock over? I did that to keep the algae back when i first got into this hobby. Stop doing it if you are. Just let it grow and let the rock mature. Coraline will take over in time.

It definately looks like some type of sponge to me. Leave them in their original position, they will not enjoy the light shock that may result if you move them.
