Coral snow without protein skimmer?

When your considering an additive such as this, ask yourself, what specific problem are your trying to solve?
If the livestock is doing well and growing, you usually don't need it. Also, how large a tank are we talking about? A product like this is used for tanks with a lot of SPS corals. Usually those tanks have heavy filtration including skimming. Do you have an SPS dominated tank? If not, you likely don't need the product.

I'm confused, doesn't take a lot. But are you saying you want a skimmer to clear the water after adding coral snow, or are you using coral snow to clear the water? If so I think it's the wrong product as snow is designed feed the corals and thus will cloud the water temporary .

Yes it's the Korallen-Zucht Coral Snow and it's it's not for feeding corals, or so I was told. Plus this link I found says the exact same thing about coral snow that I was told by the store keeper:

After reading the link, I'm not sure that it will be as effective if you're not using a skimmer.

Since the tank in question doesn't have a skimmer, you'd be far better off investing in a skimmer, rather than using an additive.
Using Coral Snow would be a band-aid approach at best.
