Are these HYDROIDS and should I be concerned

These colonies of feather duster looking things started appearing about 6 months after I had my tank set up.At first I thought it was a good sign that my tank was healthy. Now I have been reading about these things called colonial hydroids and it had me concerned. Can anyone help identify and let me know what I should do. So far none are anywhere neat my corals. I also have one stationary snail myotid I think that has been described as a nuisance invert as well. The snail had been in for at least 8 months and no signs of spreading. But the hydroids or feather duster tubelike things are slowly multiplying in small colonies.

Any thoughts? Thanks

In the second picture I see a Vermetid web. Find the Vermetid and break it off. They can really spread and web up your tank.

The hydroids are a pain they are supposed to be able to sting and at least make corals unhappy but I've not really seen that in my tank. I use tweezers and yank them out of the rock. other critters and life will out compete them eventually.
