Anyone running a VorTech MP10 on their Max C-250...?

Are the hydor Korolias expensive? I haven't looked into them.

i have the 1500's... they give me some great flow.. and 60$... now i dont have the same modes but i love them

I run one MP10, my beachball size hammer coral can barely take it on full speed

I got both of my mp-10's used. All I've had to do with them is upgrade the bearings on one of the two pumps. If you watch for sales you can get the pumps for just at or under $200, or if you can find them used they may go for $100 each. Mine are the old "blue box" controllers but I've had them for over three years now and besides the occasional cleaning, they are running strong. I've more than gotten my money's worth out of them.

I would not say need... but it is a nice addition I ran two years stock with great success before adding an MP 10
