anyone ever use sand from marco rocks?

any of you using sand from marco rocks...i just put the stuff in my tank i like the way it looks but it seems really fine and i know im going to have trouble setting up my pumps to keep the stuff from blowing all over the place...what are your experiences with the stuff? thanks for your thoughts

I'm using sand from them and 100% happy about it, it came really clean, I bought 150 pounds and only found a dry leaf

yea mine came really clean too...will the stuff settle down over time? it is in my tank now and it seems like everytime it is disturbed a little it just creates a dust cloud..how are you running your pumps/powerheads in the tank?

I think that once the bacteria form, they will grab hold of it and keep it down (to a point). If Juan is having success with it, I would tend to think it will settle into your tank.
