Oh my David, I was in the process, got all my corals out, went to move 1 rock and this popped out. Please someone tell me it is the mantis, I am so shaking here. I don't see a head but it is still moving. If it is the mantis do not have to dip my rocks again.

Not sure what that is! It might even be some type of nudibranch? Post the pic in the hitchhiker forum for an ID.

Let's hope the ordeal is over! That last picture you put in the hitchhiker thread does look more like a mantis, and the size you sent me - about 2.5 inches also sounds like a mantis. With over 400 species of mantis I'm sure there must be some physical differences between them. Let us know if the clicking is gone - keeping my fingers crossed!

I agree with the ever wise Terry on this. I can feel it in my waters that the ordeal is over. Rebuild the tank, sit back and feel the accomplishment.
