Does anyone have their live rock against the back of the glass. I had to rearrange mine today because some pieces were falling. I read on another forum that it was ok to lean some pieces against the glass. What does everyone here think?

Hi,

I have my rock against the back glass, lots of other people do too, you just need to make you you have some flow behind there otherwise you will get debris building up and may cause a nitrate problem.

Good luck

If you're afraid of damaging the glass, don't worry, if you carefully lean some pieces to the back wall, the glass won't break.
But some people tend to avoid this mostly for flow reasons, you want to have constant flow through your tank in the back and front, better flow means healthier corals, cleaner tank and avoid nuisance algae.

Good luck :)

Yes, my rock is against the glass in a couple of places but there is about 4-5 inches of space at the bottom, plenty for flow.
