Anemone looks like its dying

He was great for so long, I moved and he survived move 4 months ago, Was Looking good, just got new 55w blue and white lights 60 gallon tank and now he looks like the attached picture and worse today. Mouth is wide open and very little arms now. HELP SOS 60 gallon tank and do consistent water changes

Don't see a picture, but wide open mouth and no arms is a bad sign, monitor closely

he might have just been shocked from the new lights...or he might just be playing a game of gotcha....i thought many times one of my nems was dying but i learned from my previous experience with them to just let them go...a lot of times they just like to scare the crap out of you and make you think they are dying.

If they do, is this something to be concerned about? I figured ours was just getting rid of waste when he did that. Ours is now under a rock too- looks stuck, but I'm sure he isn't.

not at all it's normal and if they do it once a day or once a week or what ever as long as it is spitting brown stuff out it's probably just normal. and i also notice when my nems are new they do it more frequently.
