Switch should be in the center position – this uses the timer function.
The numbers indicate the time of day and have 15 minute intervals. Rotate the outer ring clockwise until you are at the current time of day as aligned to the black arrow. In the photo, the time of day is set to 1600 or 4:00PM.
The dip switches, when they are in the outer position the lights will be on. In the photo they are set to come on at 0700 (7:00 AM) and go off at 1745 (5:45PM). Obviously when they are pushed in towards the center, the lights will be off.

Sweet, so the journey begins.

"The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

Looking at that picture I'm sure you might have a bit of a problem with your tank installation. I going to go out on a limb here and say you may want to invert that tank to keep water in it. I've always been cautious of these tanks installed upside down :p

LOL.
Not sure why the picture appears inverted.
But so far the water is still in the tank :)
I am from Australia so things are a bit upside down here :)

I like the scape. Lots of room up top for SPS growth.

...stupid auto correct

Thanks :)
Here is where the tank is at the moment.

I am stopping for now. As we are off to Indonesia SCUBA diving at the end of the month, for 10 days. I don't want to add anything more until I return.

Cheers
