but i was told at the lfs that if u have a sick fish then the others in the tank were exposed and you should treat the whole tank.

Once again, never fully trust your LFS. You never treat any fish that isn't showing any outward signs of infection. You run the risk of creating a resistant strain of the bacteria.

get a clear drinking glass of tank water and put a sheet of white paper behind it so you can see the color, I think your are obsessing a wee bit about the green but thats just me:poke: Ps, your pm's are full

I just did a huge water change and water was still a slight green.
I put in new water and the tank looks almost normal again.
I removed half of the gravel and will remove the other half at a later date and change it to a better darker color to show off the colors of the rainbowfish.
I dont understand why the carbon didnt get rid of all the green but I will never again treat the display tank!!
