The main differences are the D model (deluxe) has a better skimmer, a surface cup skimmer, a hood the opens all the way up, and a water level window.

Folks, also worthy of Note, a 130D hood will fit a 130 but a 130 hood will not fit a 130D as the skimmer bodies are different heights.

Hi Uncle Bruno, this issue being the mounting arms and sometimes the skimmer cover, it has ribs on the underside that foul the skimmer cup.

The main issue with 130/ 130D comparability issues is the skimmer, they are totally different on the 130 and 130D

in my 130 I mounted the tunze 9002 with the media basket as a filter . You could go ?
the problem would be the blocks of opening the hood , if I understand. pls help me...
